The PADI Open Water Diver course is the world’s most popular dive program, globally recognised and illustrates that you have met all the course requirements to dive in open water.

This is where dive certification begins and gives you a ticket to a lifetime of underwater adventure.

Our course is based on students taking an online class (e-learning) prior to commencing the in-water training sessions, which is typically scheduled over the course of three days. A two-day course schedule is also available upon request.

The PADI Open Water Diver course consists of three main phases:

+ Home Based Study: Online knowledge Development (e-learning materials) to understand basic principles of scuba diving

+ Day 1: Confined Water Dive (1 dive) to learn basic scuba skills

+ Day 2 & 3: Open Water Dives (4 dives in total) to use your skills and explore

Start your course today, and once you have completed your e-learning, we will contact your school to confirm dive dates.

DAY 2 & 3 – OPEN WATER SESSIONS

This is where your OZDIVE PADI instructor will take you into the open ocean water and you will complete at least four open water dives. Everything that you learnt and experienced in the pool will now be experienced in the open ocean water.
