How The Advanced Open Water Course Works

This course will provide you with more opportunities and more skills to put under your dive belt. There are five dives involving two core dives and three elective specialty dives.

The Deep Dive component will take you to a maximum depth of 30 metres. The Navigation component will further expand on your navigation capabilities, already established from your Open Water course. The three Adventure dives that you will undertake are Fish ID, Drift Diver and Peak Performance Buoyancy.

Our instructors will take you through the course with the goal of not only taking your diving to the next level but having fun along the way.

  • Certification to dive to 30 metres
  • Two core dives and three specialty dives to be selected from below list:

Please note:

  • Students are to have their own mask, snorkel, wetsuit and fins. All other equipment supplied.
  • Due to course duration some dives will be conducted outside of school hours.
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of PADI Open Water Course.
  • Children must be 12 years or older to complete the Advanced Open water Course.
