Scottish Prince Night Dive
Dive TripsThe underwater world is totally different at night, so come explore the historic Scottish Prince wreck at night with OZDIVE. The Scottish Prince is covered in soft corals and sponges, making it a haven for crayfish, shovel nose rays, brown-banded cat sharks and Wobbegongs sharks, and other tropical fish. Night Diver or Wreck Diver certification is not required. You must be Open Water certified and first time night divers are welcome as long as you have recent dive experience.
Night Dive Trip Inclusions:
- One (1) offshore boat dives to the nearby reefs and wrecks
- Divemaster Services
- Tanks and Weights
- Snacks
- Small dive group
Please note, your safety is our priority and all dives are subject to weather conditions.
Duration: Approximately three (3) hours.
Diver Requirements (night dive):
- + Must have a torch
+ Must have a dive marker light (complementary)
+ Must be Open Water certified
+ Must have recent dive experience within 6 or 12 months depending on number of dives you have logged
Please remember that in QLD we have the Code of Practice requirements of each diver carrying these safety items:
- + Visual Signalling Device (e.g. – Safety Sausage/SMB)
- + Audible Signalling Device (Whistle/Air Horn)
- + Cutting Tool (Knife/Shears/Line Cutter)
If you do not own these items you can purchase them at Sporty’s Warehouse or on the morning of the dive. You must also carry a snorkel and use a dive computer.
The divemaster is there to help all divers. If you feel you need your own private and dedicated DM, then this service is available for an extra $149.
